                             ગુજરાતીસાહિત્ય ફોરમ આયોજિત વક્તવ્યના વક્તા હતા રામ મોરી, જેમણે પરંપરાગતલોકગીતો દ્વારા વારસાની ગાથા જે પેઢી સુધી જીવંત રહી છે  તેના પર મંત્રમુગ્ધકરી દેતું વક્તવ્ય આપ્યું. સૌરાષ્ટ્રનાપાલીતાણામાં ભર્યાભાદર્યા ઘરમાં જેને ડેલો કહેવાય  ત્યાં જન્મ થયોહતો.પરંપરાગત રીતિરીવાજો,જેસૌરાષ્ટ્રની આગવી ઓળખ ધરાવતા ઘરમાં જન્મ એટલે તેમની લાક્ષણિકતાઓ રામભાઇને ગળથૂથીમાંથીમળી છે. 

                           

સૌરાષ્ટ્રમાંશ્રાવણ મહિનાની સાતમ ,આઠમનો તહેવાર બહુ મોટો ગણાય, રિવાજપ્રમાણે ઘરની દીકરીઓ પિયરમાં જ ઉજવે ને આઠ,દસ દિવસપિયરમાં રહી જાતજાતની વાતું કરતી કંઇક ભરતગૂંથણખાટલીમાં બેઠાં બેઠાં કરે. રામભાઇ ઘરે પણ તેમની છ ફોઇઓ અને બે તેમની દીકરીઓ આવે. તેમનાકલબલાટથી ઘર ગુંજી ઉઠે ને એના પડઘાઓ પરોક્ષ રીતે રામભાઇના કાન પર પડતા ને જાણેઅજાણ્યે તેમનાચિત્તમાં શબ્દોનો દેહ ઘડાતો ગયો. તેમના કમખામાંથી આપેલો રુપિયો ને સાથે આશીર્વાદનાલહેકા સાથે  હાથના ટચાકા, તમારા ભર્યાભોગવજો તેમના કાને ઝીલ્યા  હોય તેની મીઠી યાદ આજે પણ તેમના મનોમસ્તિકમાંછવાયેલી છે.

                             

તેમનાલોકગીતોમાં તેમના ઘરની ઘુંધટવાળી બાઈઓના આંસુ એવા સીંચાયા છે કે આજે 100 , 200 વર્ષ પછી પણકાળજે સોયની  માફક ભોંકાય છે. માડીના ઘેઘુર અવાજમાં સમર્પણના ભાવ છે. પોતાનેજે જીવનમાં વેઠવું પડ્યું તે પોતાની લાડકવાયી દીકરીને ના વેઠવું પડે તેવા ભાવ તેના લોકગીતમાં છે. રામભાઇના શબ્દોમાં લોકગીતો તો કાળી છાતી પર લખાયેલ કથાછે. 

                      

રામભાઇએ જે લોકગીત સંભળાવ્યા અને  તેની પાછળની અર્થસભર કથા સાંભળી શ્રોતાજનોના હ્રદય દ્રવી ઉઠ્યા. બાળલગ્નની પ્રથામાં જે કજોડા સર્જાતા તે સાંભળી તો આ સત્ય હશેકે કેમતે પ્રશ્ન દરેકને  ઉદ્દભવ્યો. સૌરાષ્ટ્રની લોકકથામાં દેદાની વાત સાંભળીસૌ કોઇ અચરજ પામ્યા. લાઠી ગામની 21 કન્યાનાસમૂહમાં લગ્ન યોજાયા હતા, તેઓનું બહારવટિયા દ્વારા અપહરણથાય છે, તેમની પાછળ બહાદૂર જવાન દેદોપડે છે, ને તેમને બચાવે છે પણ બહારવટિયાસાથેની લડાઇમાં મૃત્યું પામે છે.  કન્યાઓ પણ તેનેબચાવનાર પાછળ સતી થાય છે.  ત્યારથી દેદાનો પાળિયો પૂજાય છે, કન્યાના લગ્નપહેલાં તેના પાળિયા સાથે લગ્ન  થાય નેનાની પાંચ છ વર્ષની છોકરીઓ મૃત્યું પામેલ દેદાની વિધવા થાય,  ને છાતીકૂટે. આરીતે જો જીવનમાં વૈવધ્ય આવે તોકન્યાઓ  કારમો ઘા ઝીલી શકે . કેવી દૂરંદેશી ભરેલી વાત લોકગીતમાં વર્ણવી છે. લોકગીતમાં આવતાં મરસિયા પણ રામભાઇએ ગાઇ સંભળાવ્યા. લોકગીતમાં બાર વર્ષ સુધી વરસાદ ન આવતાનપાણિયા પ્રદેશની વાવમાં પાણી જુવાન જોડુંના ભોગથી આવે તે વાત તો  ખૂબ જહ્રદયદ્રાવક હતી. દીકરી 100 દીકરાની ગરજ સારે તેના પર પણ લોકગીત લખાયા છે. રામભાઇના ઘણી હ્રદયસ્પર્શી વાત તો અહીં સમાવી શકાય તેમ  નથી, તેમને તો તો સાંભળવા જ પડે, તે લહાવો પણઅનોખો છે. અમે તો તે લહાવો લીધો, આપ સૌ પણ ચૂકશો નહીં. 

                      

આપનો રામ ભાઇ આપના સંવેદનશીલ વક્તવ્યથી સૌ કોઇ અભિભૂત થયા છીએ. આપનો ખૂબ ખૂબઆભાર , ફરી  આપના વક્તવ્યનો લાભમળે એ આશા . આપની સૌરાષ્ટ્રની મીઠી બોલી ને લોકગીતવખતનો લહેકો એટલો સાહજિક હતો કે આપની સંસ્કૃતિ આપનામાં વણાઇ ચૂકી છે તેમ સર્વેએ અનુભવ્યું.ક્યાંય કોઇ દેખાડો નહીં કે પ્રયત્ન વગર કહેવાયેલી વાતો હ્રદયના ઉંડાણમાંથી આવતી હતી તે પણ અનુભવ્યું. આભાર  આભાર……..

·        Adapted Gunvantrai Acharya’s novelinto the musical play Haji Kasam Tari Vijli, directed by AbhinayBanker.

·        Authored “Dākhe Dalpatram”, amonologue based on poet Dalpatram’s life.

·        Wrote “Rajadhiraj”, India’slargest Hindi musical play, staged at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre,Mumbai.
