Rajeshwari Dholakia Antani, born on 26 December 1959 in Mumbai, was among the pioneering women cricketers of India. A left-handed batter and left-arm orthodox spinner, she played for India between 1976 and 1982. She represented the country in four Test matches and thirteen One Day Internationals, including the 1978 and 1982 Women’s World Cups. Though her statistics were modest, her role as an all-rounder added balance to the team during its formative years.
