Dr. Pranay Vaghela was born in Mangrol, Junagadh district, Gujarat.He completed his primary education in Mangrol and his secondary and highersecondary education in Rajkot. He earned his MBBS and MD degrees from the prestigious Baroda Medical College,under The MaharajaSayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. Subsequently, heobtained a Fellowshipin Critical Care from ApolloHospital, Delhi.
Althougha medical professional by occupation, Dr. Vaghela has an enduring passion forliterature. He writes ghazals,nazms, songs, dohas, and free-verse poetry in Gujarati as well as Hindi-Urdu.His literary works have been published in various reputed magazines andjournals, and he has presented his compositions at literary events in majorcities such as Ahmedabadand Mumbai.In addition to poetry, he has also written several short stories in prose.
Dr. Pranay Vaghela now makes his debut as a novelist,presenting his first novel to readers.
ડૉ પ્રણય વાઘેલાનો જન્મજૂનાગઢ જિલ્લાના માંગરોળ ખાતે થયો. પ્રાથમિક અભ્યાસ માંગરોળ અને માધ્યમિક-ઉચ્ચત્તરમાધ્યમિક અભ્યાસ રાજકોટ કરીને તેઓએ વડોદરાની સુવિખ્યાત મહારાજા સયાજીરાવયુનિવર્સિટી અંતર્ગત બરોડા મેડિકલ કોલેજમાંથી એમબીબીએસ અને એમડીની ડિગ્રી મેળવી. એપછી ક્રિટિકલ કેરની ફેલોશીપ દિલ્હીની એપોલો હોસ્પિટલમાંથી મેળવી. વ્યવસાયે ડૉકટરહોવા છતાં સાહિત્ય પ્રત્યેના અદમ્ય ખેંચાણને લીધે તેઓ ગુજરાતી અને હિંદી-ઉર્દૂમાંગઝલ, નઝ્મ, ગીત, દોહા, અછાંદસ વગેરે લખે છે, જે સમયાંતરે વિવિધ પ્રખ્યાત સામયિકોમાંપ્રકાશિત પણ થઈ છે અને અમદાવાદ, મુંબઈવગેરે મહાનગરોના કાર્યક્રમોમાં એમણે રજૂ પણ કરી છે. આ સાથે એમણે ગદ્યમાં કેટલીકવાર્તાઓ પણ લખી છે. ડૉ પ્રણય વાઘેલા પહેલીવાર નવલકથા લઈને આપણી સમક્ષ આવ્યા છે.
