Sushma Sheth is a celebrated Gujarati writer whose debut short story collection "Vartaao Maari Tamaari" (Stories of Yours and Mine) was honored by the Gujarat Sahitya Akademi and received the Anju Narshi Award.
Her second book, a collection of humorous tales titled "Hasta Raho Hasavta Raho" (Keep Smiling, Keep Making Others Smile),won the First Prize in the Satire and Humor category from the Gujarat Sahitya Akademi.
She has been writing the humor column "Hasgulla Tarbatar" in the weekly magazine Chitralekha for the past 125 consecutive weeks.
