Snehal Mazumdar is academically accomplished, holding qualifications as a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, and LLB. He is associated with several institutions and chambers.

In the field of music, he has performed santoor recitals across India and abroad. He has composed numerous works in Gujarati, Sanskrit, and Hindi. He currently serves as the President of the Indian Musicological Society and the Indo-US Cultural Council.

He is also the Chairman of the Maharashtra State Gujarati Sahitya Academy (2023–2025). For the past 27 years, his column “Teerkitdha: Tax, Pen, and Art” has been published in Janshakti Pravasi. He has authored seven books on taxation, music, and literature, including “From Chhand to Swachhand”, “Pushtimargiya Sangeet”, and “Thumri and Her Companions”.

સ્નેહલ મુઝુમદાર અભ્યાસે ચાર્ટર્ડ એકાઉન્ટન્ટ,  કૉસ્ટ એકાઉન્ટન્ટ અનેએલ.એલ.બી છે. તેઓ અનેક સંસ્થાઓ અને ચેમ્બરો સાથે સંકળાયેલા છે.

સંગીતક્ષેત્રે તેમણે સંતુરવાદનના કાર્યક્રમ દેશવિદેશમાં આપ્યા છે. તેઓએગુજરાતી, સંસ્કૃત અને હિંદીમાં અનેક સ્વરાંકન કર્યાં છે. તેઓ ઇન્ડિયન મ્યુઝિકોલોજિકલસોસાયટીના અને ઇન્ડો યુએસ કલ્ચરલ કાઉન્સિલના પ્રમુખ છે.

તેઓ મહારાષ્ટ્ર રાજ્ય ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય અકાદમી ૨૦૨૩-૨૦૨૫ના અધ્યક્ષ છે. જન્મભૂમિ પ્રવાસીમાંતેમની 'તીરકીટધા : કર,કલમ અને કલા'કૉલમ છેલ્લા ૨૭વર્ષથી આવે છે અને કરવેરા, સંગીત અને સાહિત્યના વિષય પર એમના સાત પુસ્તકો  છે જેમાં "છંદથીસ્વચ્છંદ સુધી", "પુષ્ટિમાર્ગીય સંગીત"અને "ઠૂમરી અને એની સાહેલીઓ"નો સમાવેશ થાયછે.
